Homesick is a candle brand that recently launched a collection in collaboration with Star Wars.
Customers have always had the option to UV print a note onto the back of their candles, and as
part of the Star Wars launch, Homesick introduced a series of pre-written notes as an option
for customers who want a curated personalization option.

I designed a modal to emphasize the new curated message functionality without obscuring the
existing, customer-driven personalization option.

As part of the Star Wars Launch, the Homesick team wanted to introduce a selection of curated messages that customers could choose to UV print on the back of their candles instead of writing a fully-custom message.

The modal needed to emphasize the distinction between the two options so customers wouldn't think they were mutually exclusive.
